This is a series that I made in different kitchens. I present here an excerpt from the interview with Cuartoscuro photography magazine, for its April-May 2011 issue: “Family life gave González de León another rhythm and creative space, from which ‘Doméstica’ was derived, a work circumscribed in its first stage to the kitchen. The photographer saw in the objects that inhabit that space, apparently exclusively utilitarian, entities in which light also forged wonders: brightness, volumes, new dimensions and deformations, reflections, chaos, waiting, silences or loneliness”.
