Silvia González de León, Mexican, sociologist, editor and photographer.
I have been interested in the practice of alternative photographic techniques: the camera without lens and cyanotype, as well as in the elaboration of artist's books. I have given workshops with these procedures in different cities in México and in Dublin, Ireland, 2007.
I had the teaching of two outstanding professors: I was a student at Kati Horna's Photography Workshop (1984-1985), a legendary Hungarian photographer at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas; and the artist and photographer Carlos Jurado, who taught me the handling of cameras without lens, in Veracruz, México, at the end of the 90's.
