Buenos Aires Residency

Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2007

In 2007 I received support from the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (National Endowment for Culture and the Arts) to do a six-week artistic residency at the Escuela Nacional de Fotografía (ENF), in Buenos Aires. My project was to photograph the capital. Despite being winter there, I was able to work a lot in that time and gather a good number of representative images of the city. I exhibited my pinhole work at the ENF, where this technique is taught. There are many photographers that practice this technique in Argentina.
