In the summer of 2001 I received support from the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (National Endowment for Culture and the Arts) and the Banff Centre for a six-week artist residency. In that splendid place I had all the facilities and materials to work with, including an individual darkroom, which allowed me to develop rolls of film and print images, some in large format. I made these two series: Twilight and Nude and Buffalo Mountain. They were very productive weeks.
